  • GummidipoondiGummidipoondi (AC 1) is the northernmost assembly seat in Tamil Nadu, sitting in Thiruvallur district along NH-16 about 50 km north of Chennai and a short drive from the Andhra Pradesh border.
  • PonneriPonneri (AC 2, SC reserved) sits on the northern Coromandel coast in Tiruvallur district, where the Buckingham Canal, Ennore Port and Pulicat Lake — Tamil Nadu's second-largest brackish lagoon and a winter home for greater flamingos — define the geography.
  • TiruttaniTiruttani sits on Tamil Nadu's northern edge in Tiruvallur district, where the plains meet the Andhra border.
  • ThiruvallurThiruvallur — AC 4, a general (unreserved) seat — is the headquarters seat of Thiruvallur district, set 45 km west of Chennai on the Chennai-Tirupati rail line.

  • MadavaramMadavaram (sometimes spelled Madhavaram) is an assembly constituency in Tiruvallur district covering north Chennai's industrial spine: the Aavin co-op dairy hub, Manali Industrial Estate's CPCL refinery belt and the Madhavaram bus and truck terminuses.
  • ThiruvottiyurThiruvottiyur (AC 10) is the industrial-spiritual northern edge of Chennai, where the Coromandel coast meets the Manali petrochemical belt and Ennore Port.
