Tiruvadanai
Tiruvadanai — TVK's Rajeev unseats Congress incumbent by 2,513 votes in Ramanathapuram

About Tiruvadanai
Tiruvadanai is the Coromandel-coast belt of Ramanathapuram, reserved SC, where Tamil-Hindu fishing settlements sit alongside Marakkayar Muslim ports that have traded across the Palk Strait for centuries. Devipattinam's Navabashanam shrine — nine sea-rocks worshipped as the planets, where pilgrims wade in for new-moon rituals — is the constituency's signature landmark. The road south leads to Mandapam and the Pamban bridge into Rameswaram, one of the Char Dham and a Jyotirlinga. Salt pans, prawn farms and chilli fields fill the flat hinterland, and the coast carries the long memory of Sethu-bound pilgrim ferries.
Tiruvadanai & the Sethu coast
Tiruvadanai runs along the Coromandel — Tamil fishing villages and old Marakkayar ports facing the Palk Strait. Wade into Devipattinam's Navabashanam, where nine sea-rocks stand for the planets, then drive south through Mandapam over the Pamban bridge to Rameswaram — Char Dham, Jyotirlinga, Sethu pilgrim end-point.
